Metro Atl. Floors has been doing garage floor installations in the Atlanta area for the past 5 years and has thorough experience using both epoxy and vinyl coverings. Garage floors typically aren’t as elegant and breathtaking as indoor hardwood floors, but they do serve as a reliable space for your home projects. Of the garage flooring options you will have to choose from there are two main groups. One use epoxy paints and sealants, while the more trendy option is to use vinyl tile coverings.
The more conventional option for garage floors is to use 2 part epoxy, which is very strong and durable. The customer has the option of which color of flecks to use, with flecks being the different colored flakes that you see in the image above. The epoxy is laid on the floor with the colored flecks and then a sealer is placed on top. This option has a variety of looks depending on what flecks are chosen.
A recently popular choice among Atlanta garage owners is the vinyl covering. This flooring option is fairly new but has caught on in the area due to its durability. This option comes in the standard colors of black, gray and tan. Garage owners that go this route typically go with a vinyl tile look, like you see in the image above, or with a solid one color approach.
Regardless of which option you decide on both of these choices are extremely durable and will provide a supportive and attractive place to park your vehicle. I think the Rhino Floortex is more durable and stronger than the vinyl tile coverings.
